9. Great Lakes Brewing Company.

If you don't know about the beer that Great Lakes makes you are quite possibly living in a bubble. You probably know that Great Lakes is brewed right here in Cleveland. What you might not know is that there are a host of activities that take place at the brewery during the year. With St. Patricks Day and The Cleveland International Film Festival right around the corner, Great Lakes is serving up some great reasons to come down and have a good time. On St. Patricks Day they will open at 10am and provide an Eco-friendly ride down to the parade in their vegtable oil fueled bus. You can watch the parade and catch a ride back for traditional Irish food along with live Bagpipers and an Irish Drummer while sipping on a Conways Irish Ale.

If you aren't into the festivities of St. Patricks Day there is still something for you. Great Lakes is offering you a chance to view a free private screening of Ingredients at the Cleveland International Film Festival (while supplies last). This film highlights the local food movement and tells us how we can eat healthier and support a more sustainable food system. Supplies are limited and you must call ahead to RSVP Contact Felicia Jackson at 216.771.4404, ext. 222.

There are many other things that Great Lakes offers such as Tours, Beer School, Beer Tastings and many others. If you want to be updated daily with the goings on at Great Lakes Join their fan page by clicking Great Lakes Brewing Company
